What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, commonly known as CBT, is a kind of psychotherapy that aims at modifying negative thinking patterns and behaviours that lead to an individual's difficulties. It involves identifying negative thoughts and beliefs and challenging them to develop healthier thinking patterns and coping strategies. CBT is a goal-oriented therapy that focuses on helping individuals address specific problems by teaching practical skills to manage emotions, change unhelpful behaviour, and improve overall mental well-being.
